THE SOUL OF THE COMPANY: MERCEDES CARRIÓ
 Did you ever surprised yourself looking to the sky at the quiet but impressive flight of a hot air balloon? How many times would have you changer yourself for the person inside that basket, to see from that height, flying close to the sun, what is going on down under in the ground?
That was the main thought in Mercedes Carrio's mind when she decided to become one of the first woman balloon pilots 26 years ago. This natural-born adventurer prefers to participate in a sailing contest, to drive a 4x4 or to jump with parachute from a plane, instead of any other normal activity in her free time. Since 17 years she has been combining her responsability as President of Ballooners in the Catalan Aerial Association with a busy professional life as Financial Director, Human Resources responsible or Account Manager in the computer systems business.
Her great capacity to organise events, togrther with her entrepreneurial spirit and a wide range to contacts collected during her multiple experiences along her life, have been the "burner" that impulsed Mercedes Carrió to this business adventure called TEAMSPIRIT, which like all balloons started with a smooth take-off but aiming to get very high, to show everybody that tehe right motivation and team work any goal is reachable.
Why did we create TEAMSPIRIT?
The XXI century has started under an entrepreneurial environment mainly based in new technologies. Their rocket-speed development is as fast as the one being pushed by the companiesto their employees, turning working enviroments each day into more impersonal and individual. Therefore, the need to set common goals and motivate the teams to reach them, forces companies to implement certain values like team spirit, communication and collaboration between employees.
 TEAMSPIRIT AND ITS TEAM borns with the aim to power the human factor in the company through the organisation of events based in fun and adventure challenges, that facilitate and improve communicatiom, team work and professional formation, leading to an increased performance of tht company.
